Maevi is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by couriers, customs, or peak periods
- Parcels delivered to an incorrect address entered by the customer
- Parcels marked “delivered” by the courier but not received
- International delays due to customs inspections

Returns Policy

We want you to love your purchase from Maevi. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as well as our store policies.
1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product:
- is faulty or defective
- is significantly different from the description
- is unsafe
- does not perform as expected
These rights apply regardless of our change-of-mind policy.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- unused and in original condition
- in original packaging
- not a sale or clearance item
- returned with proof of purchase
Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer’s responsibility.
Refunds for change-of-mind returns will be issued to your original payment method once the item is received and inspected.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item is damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- your order number
- a description of the issue
- clear photos
Once confirmed, you will be offered:
- a replacement
- a repair (if applicable)
- or a full refund
Return shipping for faulty items is covered by Maevi.
4. Exchanges
Exchanges may be available depending on stock.
To arrange an exchange, contact us and we will guide you through the process.
5. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- earrings or other pierced jewellery
- opened beauty or skincare products
- intimate apparel
- gift cards
- customised or personalised items
These items can still be returned if they are faulty under the ACL.

- Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is paid by the customer
- Return shipping for faulty items is covered by Maevi
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required under the ACL

At Maevi, we stand behind the craftsmanship and durability of every piece we create. Our jewellery is designed for real, everyday life, ocean and pool swims, gym sessions, showers, and everything in between.
Because of this, every Maevi purchase is protected by our 6 month colour manufacturing warranty.
What Our Warranty Covers
Our warranty ensures your jewellery stays beautiful and wearable. We will repair or replace your item if it experiences any of the following within 6 months:
1. Colour Fading or Tarnishing
Maevi jewellery is crafted from 316L stainless steel with premium 18K PVD gold coating.
If your piece fades, discolours, or loses its shine, you’re fully covered.
2. Manufacturing Faults
This includes:
- Broken clasps
- Chain links separating due to faulty construction
- Loose or missing stones caused by a manufacturing defect
- Detachment of pendants or structural components
- Faulty jump rings or closures
3. Structural Failure
If your jewellery breaks under normal wear and tear (not accidental misuse), we will replace or repair it.
What Our Warranty Does Not Cover
To keep the warranty fair and consistent, certain issues fall outside coverage:
- Lost or stolen jewellery
- Scratches, dents, or surface marks caused by impact or abrasion
- Damage from incorrect care or harsh chemicals
- Bending or warping from forceful pulling
- Jewellery that has been altered by a third party
- Normal wear on adjustable components (e.g., extenders becoming loose over time)
- Intentional damage

Warranty Claim Requirements
To ensure a smooth and quick replacement process, we ask for:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- Clear photos or videos showing the issue
- A brief explanation of what happened
This helps us assess the problem and fast-track your replacement.
Replacement Process
Once your claim is approved:
- We will send you a brand-new replacement piece free of charge
- If the original item is no longer available, you may choose:A similar item of equal value, orA store credit to use across our website
You will never have to pay for the replacement item itself.

Warranty Period
Your warranty begins on the date of delivery, not the purchase date.

Sizing
To help you find the perfect fit, we recommend using one of the two methods below.
METHOD 1: MEASURE AN EXISTING RING (RECOMMENDED)
- Choose a ring that fits the finger you’re shopping for.
- Place the ring flat on a table.
- Using a ruler, measure the inside diameter of the ring from inner edge to inner edge, straight across the centre.
- Do not include the band thickness or outer edges, measure only the empty space inside the ring.
- Match your measurement to the size chart below.
Inside Diameter Size Chart (mm):
- 15.7 mm → Size 5
- 16.5 mm → Size 6
- 17.3 mm → Size 7
- 18.1 mm → Size 8
Tip: Measure in millimetres (mm) for the most accurate result.
How to Measure an Existing Ring
- Place a ring that fits comfortably on a flat surface
- Measure the inside diameter straight across the centre
- Match your measurement to the size chart
Measure the inside edge only. Do not include the band thickness.
